The goal of this project was to study the effectiveness of the waiting area in HIV/AIDS clinics and design solutions which would help the PLHA’s (People Living with HIV/AIDS) to use their waiting time more constructively. The waiting area would serve as an excellent ground to provide health care information and also as a place for networking with other PLHA’s.
The system proposed consists of a hand held tablet PC providing information in the form of interactive videos and a clinical radio that allows the PLHA’s to network with other PLHA’s and share their thoughts and experiences.
